They just went to the fox embedded reporter with the tank commander. When he told them Baghdad Bob said they weren't there, they said well, they were going to pay him a little visit. The reporter said, are you serious? And he said, yeah sure, he's right over there. He's not far away.

The funny thing was the CNN Atlanta-Journal reporter who stated something like, "Yeah, they're gonna blow it up in a few minutes, like about five. I'm with the guys and we're behind the statue."

So, the image I had of these guys was that the soldiers had Saddam's statue's ass in their crosshairs.

If you were watching FOX News, they had two side by side pictures of Baghdad Bob on the left and Greg Kelley on the right whom they switched to from Baghdad Bob so we could hear from the great & brave 3rd Infantry guys who took out the statue with their tank. While they were speaking a tank took out a position down the street where Baghdad Bob was speaking from atop the building. When the shell left & exploded - people on both sides flinched! Both Greg Kelley and our army guys right near the tank & Baghdad Bob on top the building right near where the shell was directed. The simultaneous flinch on both sides was that classic moment I'd been waiting for when Baghdad Bob would end up in that kind of situation & I can only expect something better to come given how quickly Baghdad Bob then ran away and hightailed it off the rooftop with media close behind!
