Great find on Gen. Brooks. He comes from a fine family. Doesn't he .. I've never heard of Gen Brooks before this war, but I have been very impressed with how he has handle himself and the press/media

Any news outlet w/ any compassion would ban FOBs while we continue to clean up after XXX42 and co. - especially while our troops are in danger, imho. And yet they're treated with reverence...

Heads Up:
On a lighter note, MSNBC in next segment is going to interview the soldier who was seen on the hood of his vehicle doing a sing along with Iraqi children.
It was a sight to see...check it out!

amazing isn't it, that the inspectors can run around in circles for months and not turn over one thing. Our guys walk into Bagdad and within 24 hours find two sites!!

Unfortunately that's exactly what I think, probably executed. PFC Lynch was from the same unit - we saw 4 dead and 5 on TV, now we have 9 dead. Sadly the math adds up.
I also think that's why the blackout on the identities of the bodies. Once the news gets out that our POW's were being executed it will get ugly in the field, and I think they are trying to control that right now.

Sod what's gonna happen out there, just imagine the reaction from people around the world who will be justifably outraged by this act of brutality, which will not go unpunished.

Actually Praire, the useless UN inspectors have been at least at one of the sites.
I wish the press would slow down on this side of the war. The main point of this war is that the region will now be stabilized for years to come. The press needs to wait until we actually properly test these sites.

There are also reports that the bodies were burned so thats why there is no info on identity till DNA done in Dover.

What, like through the corrupted UN. We tried that and it was shown to be as futile as it is always was, is and will be.

commish, it takes time to ID bodies. If they can't get fingerprints, they'll use dental records and other forensic methods. But to be sure, they'll confirm IDs via DNA testing. They have to be sure. I read that they're bringing the bodies to Dover, Delaware, for testing. And the families get notified first before the IDs are released.

Good morning, Situation Room! Looks like it was a slowish news night. Catspaw, I think the crappy weather you had yesterday has traveled south. It's rainy and gross out.
I thought Chemical Ali was reported killed?
