ATTENTION ALL ANTI-WAR PROTESTORS:
"America came here to help us," he said. "The Marines are brave men. They have been gentle with the Iraqi people. They are taking out Saddam Hussein. For that, we're grateful."
- He is right.

It's stories like these that reaffirm my beliefs in human compassion. For the sake of Iraqis like Mohammed and POW's like Jessica, I hope we liberate Iraq ASAP.

If our country breaks faith with the goodguys who remain in Iraq after the debacle following
Desert Storm (or with the good people in Afghanistan)...
...than I'd say "Shame on us".

That is a great story. Thank you for posting it. I'm SO glad not only that Jessica is now safe from her torturers, but that 'Mohammad' and his family are safe from Saddam's reprisals as well. He is truely a hero...as is Jessica.

Thanks, Spruce!
I hope those who want our soldiers and marines to kill Arab in Iraq, will read this and try to understand what our soldiers and marines are doing.

As her captors discussed amputating her leg, an Iraqi man leaned to her ear and whispered, "Don't worry." Lynch replied with a warm smile. Horrifying that they could have done this to her. She was rescued just in time, if that's the case.

SUPER BUMP
(The whole story gave me chills - the Iraqi Family who helped in her recovery have been granted refugee status and hope to meet Lynch someday)

"The doctors wanted to cut her leg off," he said "My friend and I decided we would stop it." They are wonderful and brave .... and we thank them!
