Perhaps this will be Saddam's legacy -- a ready made subway system that no one knew existed. Where better to beat the heat of a Baghdad summer day than underground? Mind the gap!

This layman's biggest fear has always been that the Iraqi's would retreat to these tunnels. I worry about the reported relative lack of resistance. Hope the bad guys don't use the tunnels to double back behind our guys then use WMD.
