I think the Arnot report I just saw was NOT the one from earlier today. I'd like to see that one too

The left in this country can barely conceal its disgust that we're winning this war AL Gore said in Athens that he wouldn't have started this war.

Other RG units headed out to meet advancing Americans. Not withdrawing into Baghdad.Good. They move, they die; and it's a darn sight easier to kill them if they're standing up rather than cowering behind the civilian populace.

AL Gore said in Athens that he wouldn't have started this war. I was surprised that he said that, were you? Check "yes" or "no."

Here's SG's excellent recap:
It was a live phone report with Arnot, and it was crazy. He was in the middle of a firefight for the bridge in El Kut (sp) and you could hear the hellfire, hear him yelling jesus christ, oh my god, etc, he said he saw an RD soldier get his head blown up, and then a civilian family (I think it was 8 people all togehter) got rescued from the middle of the firing, there were kids and a 3 year old baby girl wearing a french language t-shirt. The woman was crying and petrified, wouldn't let go of Arnot, he got food for them and the Colonel in charge came over to check on them, in the middle of crying the woman laughed because Arnot asked her if she wanted a choice of chicken or beef to eat. Then the firing came over to where Arnot and the family were and they had to move, you could hear the baby screaming and crying....it was insane
then the bridge was secured and the troops pulled back to await further orders.
You could also hear the translator yelling to the Iraqi's "Surrender now and live, why fight and die, you will lose, look around all your comrades are dead"
The Marines also would not fire unless fired upon first, they were being very cautious of harming civilians.
It was honestly so scary to be listening to.

Yes, Fox was just running some recent video from inside the nearly empty Saddam International, saying we will take it very soon.

fox needs to get Dr. Bob over to their side...he is too good to be with pms Paging Rupert Murdoch!

Hillary's is at a tipping point. She sits on the Armed Forces Committee as does Ted Kennedy.
She keeps avoiding the war and keeps going after more money for Homeland Security for New York because the dems need NY in all the elections to come.

No. They are essentially reduced to being oppositional just for the sake of being oppositional. He also may be banking on long-term negative consequences of this action.

I know he said his photographer got it filmed, so they may be in the process of editing and sending the story back IF they have time.

I'm surprised he said that.
I'm more surprised he spoke the truth.

Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what language the guy is speaking on the Bagcam? I'm using the NTV link that someone posted yesterday. Thanks!

What if others in the unit WANTED to surrender, but she didn't? LOL!!!
Remember the so called Dr. that was taking cake of Jessica.....something tells me that he should have been taken in for questioning. I know it is just suspicion on my part but it was just stated that she was without food for 8 days; and the "good" Dr. did not look like he was hungry. Makes me sick!
