This has been a brilliant battle plan.Just deliver us from "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

Question about shooting in mosque at Najaf.
A: We will try to protect the mosque. Not willfully engage in sacred sites.

Baghdad RG Division Destroyed We're losing . . . quagmire . . . supply lines are broken . . .
Ooops, rootin' for the wrong side.
The Marines that talked of the experience at Al NAsariah were awesome. Press tried to trip them up with the same questions. "Did you have enough troops?" Answer, "If we had any more, we'd be tripping over each other."

Our idiiot Rep Dennis Kuchinich (who wants to be the Presisdent, for guess which partY?) was just on radio, with ranting tape from house floor DEMANDING we stop the war NOW before we have house to house in Bagdad.
He was mayor in Cleveland at one time. He always reminded me of Alfred E Newman of Mad Magazine.
He unfortunately as a "following" of other emotional, dems with typical empty rhetoric.

There was a closeup of her face. She looks like she's in a lot of pain and on the verge of tears. But she was smiling and she had a United States of America flag.
She's coming home. And so are the deceased. We don't leave our fallen behind.

Don't you just love BG Brooks more each day. The press will learn their lesson despite themselves.

Lol! Did you see Rick Leventhal's report to Shep last night? He was thrilled about that new airstrip...MRE's aplenty. (^:
Leventhal was whining in an earlier report yesterday that he only got 1 MRE the day before. Poor baby....him starvin'. [But he did admit he got his normal 2 yesterday as the new supplies arrived.]

Q (AP, Helen wannabe): What's the red line? What about human shields.
A: The red line is trigger line where regime deems sufficient threat to use CW. Conceptual line which there might be a decision to trigger. That's why we attack the leaders...we don't want to see WMD. Rules of engagement--always make adjustments but rules remain. Those don't rise to the level of visibility at CentCom.

With the press or the enemy? LOL

I saw that too where the soldier said they would be tripping over each other if there were more troops. One of them even went further to say that not only would they be tripping over each other, the chances of friendly fire incidents would greatly increase. They all seemed quite pleased with the size of the force and the press quickly moved on to other questions LOL (no story there for them to latch onto)

I think the military guys now know what to expect at these pressers and have adapted their strategy. LOL! Talk about a light and flexible battle plan against a treacherous and unprincipled enemy!

"When you say Baghdad Division is destroyed, what does that mean?"
Non-functional unit, ma'am. Their dead, their machines are broken.
Other RG units -- we are in contact with them, and they are in serious trouble.
