Neither Hide Nor Hair U.S.: Saddam Not Seen Live Since War Began; Explosions Rip Baghdad
B A G H D A D, Iraq, March 31 In a taunt to the Iraqi regime, U.S. military officials today said the world had not seen "hide nor hair" of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein since the war began, as huge explosions again ripped the Iraqi capital, lighting up the Baghdad night sky.
Twelve days after U.S. decapitation strikes targeted a Baghdad suburb marking the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Pentagon spokeswoman Victoria Clarke today criticized the Iraqi president for not making a single live appearance.
"Since the coalition bombed Saddam's headquarters at the very beginning of the war, the world has neither seen his hide nor hair, only tapes," said Clarke. "We have not seen his sons."
Clarke's comments came hours after Iraqi TV showed taped images of Saddam with his two sons, Odai and Qusai. The footage was broadcast after Iraqi state TV resumed its service early today following heavy overnight strikes on the Ministry of Information.

I feel so silly asking, but who are the women in that pic ? . . .
The two on the right look like Mary Ann and Mrs. Howell from Gilligans Island.

The one in #13 is my friend KeyTapper's, and I think we realize when we put the fruits of our labor online that if they're any GOOD they WILL be stolen. So I'm quite sure she won't mind. (She's on a romantic long weekend with her hubby! Didn't invite me at all!)

"I don't know if Saddam is alive or dead, but it makes sense to "call him out".
Recall he challenged Bush to a duel, man to man.
What if Bush accepts, and asks him to meet him, or he's a yellow-bellied varmint?
I imagine Bush could wup-ass any dead guy.

I truly believe that when the enemy realizes that he's 6 feet under, it will be a huge, demoralizing defeat for them. That's what I keep yammering about...we should start broadcasting to Iraq that Hussein is dead...let them prove otherwise. It will be demoralizing if they can't produce a propped up corpse.
To: Cuttnhorse
I don't understand the logic in not doing that... What's the worst that could happen- he climbs out from under his hole, and supports their view... Big deal. If they can't produce the goods, a huge victory for us.

Sodom Hooshame was a puppet of the BAAAAAAAth poopy, er party, [please forgive the anal impressions, but the subject is mired in it] The puppetmasters are still in power and need to promote the impression that the figurehead is more powerful than "little Bush." Unfortunately, the ignorant will adhere to whatever feeds their ignorance.

Announcements; Free Republic; Government; Miscellaneous; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections; War on TerrorThis is not an announcement post, a Free Republic-related post, a Government-related post, it has nothing to do with politics/elections, and it can't be "miscellaneous," because it's news/WoT. This topic abuse is just too much.

He could also make a videotape showing him with a current newspaper. He could prove that he was still alive without being anywhere near the video feed.
