Dirty trick my BUTT. Last night on this very board people were wondering what the hell Geraldo was doing. He brought this on himself.I watched it myself. Only thing MSNBC read was a press release this morning!

Well, I hope your thread about this doesn't get pulled, cause mine sure did! If it was pulled because this one was first... seems it would be just as easy to just close it for posting and provide a link to this one.

I hope CNN is lying. Let their credibility keep sinking in the eyes of the rest of the country.
Of course the freeps already know where their credibility resides . . .

Holy Crap! Well I can't see Geraldo making a stupid mistake like that. He was reporting in Afghanistan for a long time. To give him credit, he may be overdramatic and tabloid-like when he reports but he is not an idiot! He has been a war correspondent for many years.

Am I mortified!
And to think I published my information that he indeed had gone to work for Al Jazero. I'm going to have to have a talk with my sources.

Yes. well, it will be interesting and it serves to get the media focused on itelf.
I do not believe Geraldo should still be in theater after the info he gave out live over the air on the specifics of his units location.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

His "firing" still hasn't appeared on CNN's website (a more or less neutral site)- but the Arnett firing has.

Are you kidding me? PMSNBC led off the 9 o'clock hour with "CENTCOM has confirmed the expulsion of Geraldo Rivera" all over it! IF this is true, and now I have to watch FNC in a sec, then PMSNBC is going to really take a beating today. I'm going to make an extra effort to listen to Hannity, he'll be partying on this one very hard!

Geraldo Rivera = Jerry Rivers, Puerto Rican and Jewish who opened up Al Capone's empty safe, capitalized on his Hispanic lineage to get ahead. What's wrong with that? As far as Capone's safe? So what, he took a gamble that could have paid off...and it didn't. I actually like him. Anyone who has this much staying power and can reinvent himself for the times is a star.

If the troops are supportive of him, and if he truly has not put out info that is damaging, I will go with the troops on this one. I still haven't forgiven him, however, for Clinton's DNA dripping from his chin.
