Have you heard anywhere that our SF are:

using civilians as human shields

and strafing them if they try to flee

Kidnapping children to coerce parents to cooperate

poisoning the local water supply to reduce resistance

taking up positions in hospitals, private homes and schools

faking surrenders so they can shoot their "captors"

...did I miss anything?

Attacking the enemy command and control is a legitimate war aim. Using civilian populations to do so is terrorism.

I see others have taken you to task for this, but let me add that our SF troops work directly against political/military targets, and do not "engage" civilians. Terrorists do the opposite.

LOL - Most newbies that spout off don't realize the caliber and quality of folk who inhabit FR. Although we're armchair reporters/generals, for the most part, we do what we're talking about (and many of us have personal experience/knowledge too)....

I do have a question regarding his remarks. SF often wear civilian clothes for clandestine operations. If I'm not mistaken that is allowed under the conventions of war as long as they're not targeting civies. Right?
