I thought the question to Brigadier General Vince Brooks this week and who does the briefing to be both condescending and patronizing. The dweeb was talking to a GENERAL, for pete's sake, not some buck private or 1st Looie. I thought Vince handled the question well, but it was insulting.

Amen. These people have a clintonian respect for the military. My father was in the Air Force for 30 years, retired in the 60's. He went on to a second career where he could have been addressed as 'doctor'. Instead, everyone still called him Colonel, an address I was always proud to hear.
