Can you imagine if on D-Day the press condemned our efforts because of civilian casualties, gave Hitler and Tojo equal time and loudly proclaimed that we were in a quagmire or losing the war?!

In the name of freedom of speech and SUPPOSEDLY balance reporting (usually not) the press has gotten entirely out of hand. They are a liability more than an asset.

Fox is reporting that 1000 Iraqis plus 4 Iraqi ex-Generals have arrived in Kuwait. They'll be used in this conflict by the military.
