Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

The DNC is pulling out all the stops now - this is getting lower than low. Internal polling numbers aren't looking good! These guys are in disarray.

I refuse to watch anything but Fox. I don't care if CNN was going to show GW arresting Saddam live, I still wouldn't watch it. For the same reason I don't eat shit just to see what it tastes like.

This American reporterette never checked to see if the story was true....she just stated what she heard on Arab TV as gospel.... Did you see O'Reilly last night about the LA Times article of an Iraqi women complaining about the troops and America?
Seems the LA Times failed to mention that she worked for Saddams Government

I don't think you have anything to worry about. It isn't moving, and there is another one behind it. You know, with the Denver RTD getting ready to strike, maybe they can send their drivers and unused buses to baghdad.

Can you imagine if on D-Day the press condemned our efforts because of civilian casualties, gave Hitler and Tojo equal time and loudly proclaimed that we were in a quagmire or losing the war?!In the name of freedom of speech and SUPPOSEDLY balance reporting (usually not) the press has gotten entirely out of hand. They are a liability more than an asset.

Fox is reporting that 1000 Iraqis plus 4 Iraqi ex-Generals have arrived in Kuwait. They'll be used in this conflict by the military.

Koffee presser: We don't want to get into a situation where the UN is seen as subjugated by any country. because that would make me, Kofi Annan look like the actual communistist power hungry stupid sonofabitch that I am.

FNC--I think I just heard William La Jeunesse report that a coalition tank drove off a bridge and 2 marines drowned. Didn't hear the whole thing.
Iraqi Death Squad is decapitating Iraqi women. Evil. Pure Evil.

Thanks for the warning - now I know what I'll be hearing from the EuroSwine Press tonight on my drive home from work - with Muslim Music in the background for effect! (I'm NOT kidding)

The only complaint I have is that Fox News doesn't have a Baghdad cam. If they did, I would have 3 sources for info. FNC, FN webcam, and FR.

Has this been confirmed? I think Rick Leventhal mentioned last night that he witnessed Iraqis in chem suits moving stuff around
