Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

One impression I do have is that the threat to the supply lines is not as big as some are making it out to be. Can't remember were I saw it, maybe it was on Sky News .. but I saw a news clip of supplies being parachuted in

I am so sorry it was so quick. I am listening to Jim Quinn's radio show on the net(great guy, from Pittsburg, early morning) and by the time I paused Quinn, all I heard Ollie say was (I think) they have had no supplies in 24 hours. Do not quote me, I may be wrong.

He was talking about the Iraqi soldiers they have (I think soldiers, not citizens) He was reporting that they literally have had no food or water for 48 hours. That's all I caught

Your post # 173 Yes! I think you got it. The lack of info in those areas cries out for attention. It has been overlooked by the press and pundits.
