One viewer to 6 is 500% increase (although their coverage is not bad)

And the only reason it's that high is because one woman was watching with twin infants.

Hey I'm watching it. At least they are actually reporting on the war and the day's events instead of flapping their jaws to exercise their egos like Hannity, Colmes and O'reily.

I believe CNN and MSNBC did a pretty good job of covering the War. Chrissy Mathews and Aaron Brown were the biggest disappointments, but as usual..... FOX RULES

This started the first night when NBC blew the competition away. First with the news and good analysis including Schwartzkopf.

Good embedded reporters, weak anchors, poor editors, pathetic management, no future.

The stage design and music is also better on MSNBC; both should (also) be picked-up when MSNBC goes under.

Fox News gets repetitious real fast. After youve seen that box of weapons found in the hospital for the 20th time, an alternative is required. CNN? No way. That leaves MSNBC.

Hmmm. I guess they were able to convince the ratings service that watching with both eyes open counts as two viewers. Wearing glasses counts as two more.

In the last few weeks, Donahue got the boot, and Savage's show debuted.

I have to give MSNBC the nod for their coverage. I think it's generally better than FOX and loads better than cnn.

I only go to their website so I can get to the webcam.

503%? That's nothing. Since the war has started, Jim has increased our pay by 1000%.

CNN has 500% increase in viewship -- six people now watching!

I agree that MSNBC has been doing a good job. Apparently their strength is just straight news. The problem with that is that when the war's over, and there aren't any big stories, there won't be any reason to watch. That's why Fox has been so successful with their talk show format. People will still watch O'Reilly or Hannity & Colmes even when there isn't anything big going on.
Maybe if MSNBC can stay on the ball with their news coverage and develop some decent talk shows pretty quick, they might have a new lease on life. If that happened, look for CNN to be the odd man out. I don't think the market can support 3 cable all-news channels.
