Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

When ever I write back their "Mail bots" just send more! Hint: Don't ever use the remove feature in spam. That tells the spammer that yours in a live email address and it gets sold to more spam lists.

Me too, but sometimes I write back and tell them "I don't have a penis." and they quit.

The Bag Cam looks like the nuclear blast scene in "The Amazing Colossal Man".

Hmmm. Are they next? Glad I moved!
Is the MSNBC BAG cam out or is there another horrific sandstorm rollin' in? Mine's all white.

I'm betting 100 to one he didn't call it frivolous or silly. Ergo, no intellectual integrity.

Amnesty International is wrong. Putting civilians in harm's way is a war crime...of Saddam's (regime). Iraqi TV is a legitimate target.
These groups are incredibly careless with their accusations - and blatantly and blindly anti-American. Shame on Amnesty International! Accusing us while innocent Iraqis and our POWs are executed! Kofi blaming us while his Libyan human rights team pardons Sudan. Please.
W WARNS OF THE WORST, John Podhoretz:
International law deals with the subject in just six words: "The taking of hostages is prohibited." Those six words constitute Article 34 of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons at Time of War.
By placing military targets in and around civilian areas, Saddam Hussein is taking the civilians in those areas hostage.
It's simple. Horrible and simple. Any deaths that result from Hussein's dastardly strategy of taking his own people hostage are therefore his responsibilty and his responsibility alone. That is the dictate of settled international law.
Don't let anybody tell you different. If peaceniks cry crocodile tears about Iraqi civilians solely because they want to accuse the United States of criminality, throw Article 34 in their faces.

The answer is NO. Have you bothered to read all the Situtation threads for the last 7 days and every single post. A singing Marine is on topic more than Belly girl, that is for sure.

Lester Holt, Great guy! He was here for many years in Chi-town. He's the reason why I watch MSNBC coverage of the war.

Thank you!

Has Amnesty International called for an investigation into the violation of the Geneva Convention when Saddam Hussein's irregulars publically executed of our Marines who were in the act of surrendering to his forces?
I think all I'm going to hear is silence over that one.

Noticing one HUGE difference on the CBS Bag-Cam (Same cam but much better picture than MSNBC ... NO CARS TODAY! I've seen a bunch of people walking around, but no vehicle traffic.
