I expect Larry Elder, among others, to rip him to shreds.

I just spoke with someone from the Academy inquiring about the rules regarding a "documentary." I asked if it had to be truthful. She said she would mail me the rules and that no one reviews the content for veracity. If I have a specific complaint, I can send her a fax and she will see that 3 members of the board who oversee documentaries will get the fax. Those members are Freda Lee Mock, Michael Apted, and Arthur Dong.

Al Rantel got a huge number of e-mails on this. Calling him fat slob and piece of garbage. He has the right to be the biggest jerk in the world. When you have POWs, when you have boys on TV shown with bullets in their heads, this fat slop is an absolute outrage. If this most liberal place outside of Berkeley has boos.....even though misguided and hate filled, they recognize Moore totally off base. If Hollywood wants to shoot self in foot, don't stop someone from committing suicide. TV ratings way down. People like Michael Moore are creating an alientation for Hollywood that they will pay for.

I was on a plane with Michael Moore once. He sat in front of me.

I demanded to have a new seat because his stench was so bad. I promised the stewardess if I wasn't moved, it wouldn't be pretty. I had just had 2 Nathan's Hot Dogs.

But Moore's spittle-flecked ululations were so over-the-top, that even the Oscar crowd — his natural constituency, you might think — erupted in a storm of boos. This was totally unexpected.

Yes, I've heard from many people that have run into him (couldn't imagine a more repellent and vile experience) that he reeks. That he either isn't much of a bather, or "can't reach the right spots to wash", or that he's simply uninformed about "deodorant".

Apparently Jabba's body odor is enough to gag a maggot. I wouldn't know, and hope I never have to find out for myself.

Incidentally, Sean Hannity was so upset he was talking about revealing some "stories" about Moore that he claims to have "inside info" about...from those that have worked "closely" (gag) with him.

Hope Sean follows through on this threat and reveals all...would love to hear some more dirt on Jabba (no pun)...

I caught the "fictition", but there was supposed to be a second "fiction" in Moore's sentence, and it sounded to me as if he mispronounced it again. How did he say it the second time?

played the tape of Moore and kept over playing gun shots as he talked, at the end he said I should be a better shot and then played a machine gun. LOL

Rule Twelve
Special Rules for The Documentary Awards

I. Definition
1. An eligible documentary film is defined as a theatrically released non-fiction motion picture dealing creatively with cultural, artistic, historical, social, scientific, economic or other subjects. It may be photographed in actual occurrence, or may employ partial re-enactment, stock footage, stills, animation, stop-motion or other techniques, as long as the emphasis is on fact and not on fiction.

2. A film that is primarily a promotional film, a purely technical instructional film or an essentially unfiltered record of a performance will not be considered eligible for consideration for the Documentary awards.

V. Voting
1. All eligible documentaries will be screened for Documentary Branch Screening Committees. The Preliminary Screening and Semi-Final Committees will be made up of active and life members of the Documentary Branch who serve on a volunteer basis.

2. Nominations will be determined by an averaged point system of voting using 10, 9.5, 9, 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7, 6.5 or 6. Those films receiving an average score of 8.0 or more shall be eligible for nomination. However, there may not be more than five nor fewer than three nominations. Final voting shall be restricted to active and life Academy members who have viewed all of the nominated achievements in a theatrical setting. Viewing Documentary entries on videocassette will NOT qualify a member for voting purposes in the Final voting stage of these categories, with the exception of Screening Committee members who have participated in the Preliminary and/or Semi-Final voting process.

3. The Documentary Branch Executive Committee shall determine and resolve all questions of eligibility or submissions for this year. Additional or altered viewing procedures may be issued to accommodate such annual factors as the number of entries, total viewing hours, size of viewing groups, available venues, or other considerations.

Documentary filmmaker sent letter to Larry and is ripping Michael. It is not a documentary. It is fiction and not deserving of any award. He will be writing to the academy and is urging Larry's listeners to do the same.
