Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Link It's gooood stuff. There's also a place with incredible pizzas which are low card. They're soy based but are really tasty....and I'm not a big low carb guy...just got to sample a ton during bidness...

Brit didn't elaborate. That was from the teaser right before the program started. I presume he'll talk more about it shortly.

I e-mailed them and told them I was offended by that graph; it looks like a video game score. Not that they care, or will change it.

Fox - Pentagon says "it could be an interesting 24 hours"
Didn't they say that yesterday? And the day before? And the day before that?...
To: Caesar Soze
I don't think this was picked up in the movies, but in the books, it was revealed that Grant was "an idiot." The T-Rex could see him the whole time, he simply didn't kill Grant because he had just eaten a goat and wasn't hungry; Very interesting. I read the book way before the first movie came out and have forgotten almost all of it. I never read the second book (although I think I have a hardcover of it around here somewhere). I just remember that line because we used to use it in reference to a co-worker.

Didn't they say that yesterday? And the day before? And the day before that?...I would say that each day of this war has been quite interesting. That's why I'm glued to this thread. How about you?

China? What "aid" do they need?I just report 'em, I don't make 'em up.
A cynic *might* think it was a quid pro quo for campaign contributions...

Fox - Senior officials have little doubt that it was Saddam.
Correction: there were 67 edits. Presumably to remove statements that would make the tape even more indicative of being made a while ago.

Thanks for the link. Baja Bob is my new best friend!

"I like major Bob Bevoleka (sp?) ex-green beret. He's on FOX. This guy kills me, he puts up with no ones sh*t, and is extremly blunt." Yup--when Bob talks--I listen....he never sugar-coats it and he's sharp as a tack.

I just wrote CNN and let them know what I think of this "death tally" they are running on their site. It is absolutely disgusting. Thanks for pointing it out.

Was this about the chemical weapons factory, the Scuds, etc. which all were proven false?Well, I was on a thread last night cautioning that the reports were using terms like "possible", "may be" and "suspected" chemical weapons plant.
But before you say "proven false", you should know that Brit Hume had an exclusive interview with Colin Powell today and in it Powell said the plant is being investigated and he did not sound like the "all clear" had been given on it.
