Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...
TOPICS: Breaking News; Foreign Affairs; News/Current Events; War on Terror

I forgot to ask which channels they receive-hope to God,it's only Fox. A few nights ago, North was giving a report and said the troops are only watching Fox News. Don't know if it was just for PR or the truth.

I posted that pic when it first came out on yahoo photos. On the yahoo version you can not see such a yellow stream. Someone said he was looing at some writing and I said I didn't think so because I could see something that looked like pee but it wasn't as clear as this picture

Thanks for the report.

And all other "funny" people":
"You ever spend 4 hrs going in and out of almost every store in the mall (some of them twice) with a 15 year old girl? It can be a fate worse thatn death! ;0)"
"I spent 40 hours doing that one evening..."
Can you people take this nonsense elsewhere? I'm at work and would like news; not tripe like this, Helen Thomas' apearance, flowerbeds, LOL's etc.
Thank you

Just a suggestion...how about if you take this to FRmail if you want to continue your debate? This is distracting imo...and is disintegrating into name calling etc.
These threads have been remarkably free from name-calling and suggestions that people need to go to DU if they hold 'such and such' opinion.

I have a question ......who tasked the Apaches to take on the Medina RG with AAA in the area. I'm just a armchair general....but it seems to me we don't attack an armor force with copters with AAA nearby..
General McInterney said we didn't have the unmanned drones or J-Stars over the battlefield.
We didn't see the AAA...

but it wasn't as clear as this picture It does look like a bad photoshop job but based off the way he is standing, looks like it was only being done to highlight what was already happening. :)

MSNBC reporting the explosion near Bahrain was a cooking cylinder? No one hurt, thank goodness, and initial thoughts that it was a bomb appear to be not so.
Whew.
That's good news! I had to leave for a little while so need to catch up.

I've never cared for this retired general on FNC but what's with all his Monday morning quarterbacking?

Hey Rummy: Yes, I saw the first one and couldn't see the stream BUT it still looks like he has his hands in his pocket and I'm wondering if the stream was edited in. Regardless, it's a Kodak moment now!!

NOW you're doubted Oliver North?

I am watching Bloom on MSNBC 6 but with no audio. They are moving along! To bad the boys on Wall Street can't figure that out today!
To: mtbopfuyn
He is making good points..
There is no way we should have sent the Apaches into triple A..

Well, then...let's send a message right back at them. How should that message be given? Uninhibited neutron emissions from a pile of compressed heavy metals.
