then were lead by the media hyping of the new hit movie 'Shockanawe'.

Oh come on. We dropped a gazillion leaflets, we went with heavy psy-ops. We "negotiated" with the enemy commanders. We put in bombing pauses. We named it Iraqi Freedom for psyops purposes. All of this designed to get the civilians to rise up, the army to surrender, and the leaders to flee. It was worth a try but they are not rising up, the commanders are not heading back to the barracks, and the leaders are not yet fleeing. We have heavier resistance than expected and our supply lines are not as safe as we expected.

It was definitely worth a shot. But it's time to change, and I am certain it will. If you think we should continue along just as we have on days 1-4 then I don't understand you.

How do you know this?

Our war plans are going quite well. We've secured the major oil fields, control the northern third and southern third of the country, and are close to
Baghdad, all in a few days.

I pray for the poor souls who have been captured, but this is war.

Yes it was worth a shot. However, you will recall that just last Thursday when festivities slowly began, the American public was warned NOT to expect a swift victory.

Our leaders didn't walk into this with their eyes shut. Our main plan is executing well, and we're compensating for the unexpected with admirable speed. We compensated with admirable speed even before the start of pitched battle.

Of course we're not going to continue on as we have the last 3-4 days, because we'll be in Baghdad tomorrow. I don't follow your assumption that our tactics have remained static. It's been a long day, and my brain cells are probably reaching critical mass. I just don't understand what it is you think our military has been doing so terribly wrong.
