Ya, I heard those. But I don't think anyone really knows. It is just a possibility, which I think is what the general said. The general also said he was a long student of, and loved, Arab culture. I wonder if TBL knows that the military's chief spokesperson in Qatar holds these views. Yet more "proof" that team Bush is full of symps, wouldn't you agree?

Excellent! No matter what they find in Iraq, it won't change the war protesters' mind. They have a political agenda and their minds are made up, so don't confuse them with the facts.

Torie, if it weren't weapons, why would they BURY a chemical plant and boobytrap it?

Good point. The good guys need to make sure this story is 100% accurate, then broadcast it throughout the world.
Operation Decapitate.

Yes, and also have 30 soldiers and a general guarding it.

I haven't read the buried and boobytrapped words. What I read is that it was camoflauged to look like sand to aerial serveliance.

My father-in-law fought in WWII. His comment about the French is that they are worthless. He said when he was there that they wanted the Australians in front and the French way behind them. He said the Australians really knew how to fight!

I have heard it reported on TWO different cable programs from the Pentagon that it was buried under some kind of "sand" thing so it could not be seen from above, and it also was boobytrapped.
Our WMD guys are there now, per the Pentagon.

I hope one of the embedded journalists is getting footage of all this. If it is documented later it will be claimed to all be faked. The bad thing is that the embedded reporter who broke this story is from the Jeruselem Post. (I read it here on FR earlier this afternooon.) Nothing against the JPost reporter, but we really need some other reporters in there, so the Arab world (and democrats) will believe it.

OK, Greta's on. Had my doubts at first but Greta for Paula has been a good trade. Fox got a good middle reliever for a weak hitting left fielder.
