I cngratulate Matt Drudge for showing the savagery of the Iraqi regime. These gruesome photos will inspire Americans who may be on the fence about this war to support regime change.
Hard core leftist organizers of the anti-capitalist, anti-America protests, will applaud the torture and murder of these troops, and this will only distance them further from mainstream America.

I agree the videos should not be shown. Remember Somalia, the newspeople showed the bodies of our servicemen dragged naked through the streets over and over - can you imagine if you were the parent of one of those young men?
Remember also that Bill Clinton turned his back and allowed it to go unpunished, setting the stage for 9-11.

You make a very good point. I think the public needs to see these slimy bastards for what they are, but maybe today isn't the time.

What if that was his brother, cousin,I agree and why give some sick commie anti the option of putting the picture on a "Look what Bush has done" sign for their next protest
Its horrible

It is hard to look at those pictures. I went to Drudge's site, because I knew he would have them. I touched my hand to the images of the dead soldiers on my computer screen, wishing that I could comfort them somehow, and wishing that their lives didn't have to end like that . I can sympathize with those who think these pictures should not be shown to the world. I dread the thought of the families seeing them.
Yet, when I came to the picture of the smiling Iraqi man kicking the dead body of one of our military men, I thought of an image I saw yesterday: it was of an American soldier pouring a drink of water to give to an Iraqi P.O.W. This is who are military are. This is what our country is.
Our military men and women can hold their heads high . They are protecting us and the world. They are going to restore dignity and humanity to people who have been beaten down by the dictatorship of a two bit, spinless coward. Saddam and his henchmen live in their palaces and pretend that they are respected by forcing the people under them to bow down, and by brutalizing those who do not comply. In reality Hussein and his men are cockroaches in a pile of dung. Their time is coming to an end.
Our soldiers, (and all the soldiers from every participating country), who voluntarily leave the comfort of their homes and families to go thousands of miles away, to a desolate land, in order to free an oppressed and brutalized people ; they are the are the ones who command respect and awe. The smiling Iraqi who is so proud to kick the body of the US Soldier will never have even one drop of the courage the man laying at his feet had. He will never be anywhere near the man that the soldier was. Saddam and his henchmen can desecrate their bodies , they can hurt them, BUT that doesn't change a thing. Saddam's people are low life brutal scum, and that is all they will ever be and all that they will be remembered for. Our soldiers defy them by their very presence in Iraq. Our soldiers are heroes.
This is why I think the pictures should be shown. There are too many protesters and hollywood people who can't or won't see the truth. These people wake up every morning in their comfortable beds ,in our free country. Then they decide to go to the "protest" sponsored by the communist party. They carry our flag with a swastika painted on it, they compare our President to Hitler; they wallow in their ignorance , while half a world a way, in the burning desert, our military put their lives on the line to defend them.
What they (hollywood, peaceniks, demacrats) should do is get down on their knees and thank God everynight for those who are willing to face untold dangers, hardships, and even death, to ensure that we remain free and the world is kept safe. God Bless and protect all who fight to protect us and the world. Amen

I believe if someone wants to see them, they should have that right......but please, give me a choice....allow me to access it if I so choose, not slap me in the face with it!
Drudge's picture of the dead soldier, front page, was sensationalism.....itchin for "I got it first".....and feel it took away my choice to view such material.....
It even half-way makes me angry I am posting about such...
To: timesarechangin
I noticed he took the picture off the front page. I mean , you have to click on the story now, in order to see them. I would agree that this is a better way to show them. It gives the person a choice.

that's not the point. these pictures and videos are nothing more than iraqi propaganda aimed at lowering the public's support for the war. i can't believe fox keeps talking about this. practically nonstop. i wouldn't have expected fox to help spread iraqi propaganda.

I disagree. It's time America woke up. Let them see the reality of the savages they're supporting.
To: bolobaby
I know this is so far down the list by now, but still, in answer to your question, "Would you want the world to see your body?" Hell yes, if I had been forced to my knees and shot in the back of the head with an AK-47, HELL YES. I would want the whole world to see what these bastards ahd done. I would EXPECT the whole world to look at it, just like the whole world saw the photos of dead Jews at Auschwitz. The wolrd NEEDS to see what is going on to fully realize just why we are doing this.
To: hotpotato
But I think they are worried about the Geneva Convention. And they well should be. I've seen the tapes of the PoW's and of the casaulties of the artillery attack on Lebonese TV as well as Al Jazeera. The American public would be enraged if they saw what was on those tapes.
