Reporting that Iraq VP say they will show footage of American POWs. Only problem is that we aren't reporting any missing troops.
Will this be where those American uniforms get used that Iraq purchased???

Saddam is crude, artless and ignorant. I doubt anything could make us more angry than showing roughed up, captured troops.

Either that or a creative use for some of the "human shields."

We are not the intended audience. Internal consumption and arab consumption.

creative use for some of the "human shields." I am sure they will be happy to co-operate.

I think we will see some POW from 1st Gulf war. That would seem a litle too obvious. Would be great though, especially if one they show is currently smiling into an "embedded" reporter camera as he is bearing down on Baghdad.

I was about to call it a late night after watching that battle, but
WHO are these POWs???
I see Peter Arnett standing off to the side. At this 'news' conference.

It's very possible that some of our special forces were captured. We never report it if they do.
However, I would wager that it's most likely to be staged if they ever make good on showing them.

They opened up the Houghton-Mifflin textbook on "Running the War" and found the "show the POWs" chapter circa Vietnam. No matter there may not be any POWs.
These losers are fighting without leadership or purpose. If they don't surrender soon they are utterly insane.
To: Ophiucus
Either that or a creative use for some of the "human shields." There you go, stuffed into those unis. Isn't that a "human shield" peacenut's worst nightmare? Being forced to wear a military uniform? LOL. If they are human shields, are we supposed to act like we care?

Fox is going very negative. Acting like Iraq is winning propoganda war. Arab world will buy react, so will peaceniks. Saddam is luring US into political game to be unleashed in Baghdad.
A TV war has to keep the controversy going, doom and gloom sells...
To: Cool Guy
It'll probably be the missing journalists dressed up in the American uniforms Saddam bought.
