Does anyone have a webcam link? The msnbc cam seems to be down. The earlier links to cams just puts my mediaplayer in permanent "searching for media" mode. Thanks!

Re: Jordan
Fox reporting almost ZERO refugees into Jordan. IMHO, that means either:
A) Everyone staying put out of fear, or
B) The Iraqi people understand we're not after them and would be perfectly happy to have their country returned to them.
My choice is B). I bet this really upsets the wild-eyed anti-war protesters, who've been clamoring over imagined civilian catastrophe and human rights abuses by the mean-ol' US.
Sorry to disappoint them (not!)

I thought that driving around bdad at this point in time required some nad in and of itself. I'm glad they did though.

Lets not so easily dismiss the oil fires. While GPS guidance is wonderful it is not effective against movable targets like tanks or artillery which would be the next targets. Also it makes BDA very difficult. If we have SOF on the ground in Baghdad then they can do some targeting but it certainly raises their degree of risk.

Somewhow it will be Reagan's fault.

I hear the official Jordan count was literally ZERO refugees. I agree, the Iraqi citizens are "voting with their feet."

Franks is on.
The oil fires are to obscure our view of movements of Saddam's forces and/or propaganda purposes (like we did it).

Okay, so it looks like some of the RG's decided to fight. I thought the Seventh would be closer than that. Whoever is opposing them, it won't be pleasant.

Everybody make a mental note for our na-na-na-na moment. Most of the peaceniks are saying 500,000 civillian caualties. I don't think we're going to do that....
