I have to say Dr. Kissinger was gobsmacked by that question. He looked fairly puzzled about why she would ask him about it! LOL!

A lot of people, and CNN, don't seem to realize how they are ticking everyone off.
The vast majority of Americans support the President, the troops and the war.
I was so into the Dallas Mavericks .. they have a great record for a change. Then Steve Nash (a Canadian) spouts off anti-war stuff at the all-star game; a few days ago Nick Van Excel says no one on the team supports the war and he adds a very nasty remark about President Bush.
Thursday night he was booed at the game. He was totally bewildered. Said he didn't mean to upset anyone. Well, duh.
I think he is just dumb and clueless, but to quote our favorite, Chirac, he missed a great opportunity to shut up.
Now my husband is totally off the Mavericks, hopes they lose the rest of their games.

On the same day the war in Iraq started, a major operation was launched in Afghanistan to wipe out remaining Al Queda and Taliban fighters.

OT a little...in my paper today..an article about rules for sending pkgs to the troops..." Do not include any material that could be considered contrary or offensive to the Islamic faith." Really?

Peter Jennings opened the evening news with comment, "military forces continue to humiliate Baghdad". He is a Goebbels. Using his position as a journalist and the power of words to spew propoganda! Anyone have his email address?
