If you can legally get one, lock a pistol in the back of a drawer in your desk at work.

You might need it one day.

She was repeating the spin. Rita breaks a lot of stories with great contacts. But when a contact gives her the line that the guy did it because of battle stress she has to be sceptical

Is that speculation, or is the military saying this?

Exactly. Well said. The problem is we are a nation that respects freedom of religion, freedom of association. People that hated the Patriot Act are going to really hate the stuff that could be legislated as a result of trying to fix this problem. The SCOTUS will not allow us to ban only one religion.

I remember watching Aaron Brown during the 9-11 days. When the people were still hopeful, a day or 2 after, and holding pictures of their missing loved ones. Aaron totally lost it on the air. I don't blame him, it was so moving - I was losing it too.

Sometimes he seems really moved by the same things we are, and then others, he totally spins the other way. It's so odd. Maybe he's a pschizo?? (is that a word?)LOL

I'm remembering now a report I saw the other night about a black soldier.

He was with his unit (still in Kuwait), they were all milling around while the reporter interviewed him. He was torn about whether he could go through with it...the war. He was expressing extreme doubts about it, to the point I was thinking "Why would they take that nutcase with them on any mission?". He was acting very strange. agitated.
I just wonder if he's the one who did this.

Anyone else see the report I'm remembering?

Sky News-Stuart Ramsey w/101st Airborne: 3 grenades...first didn't go off...16 injured by the grenades....11 serious enough to be medivac(k)ed out...suspect shot in the leg...limping, being put inside an armored HumVee, for med. attention and interrogation... Muslim-American soldier. He was acting weird, Stuart was told. This soldier was told he wouldn't be moving forward with his division sometime before attack.

Col. Hunt is a gem, isn't he? I like all the FOX analysts, though I admit a special fondness for Major Bob Bevilacqua. Did you hear O'Reilly say he looked around for an analyst for his war coverage, and based on what he was told from 'sources', he selected Col. Hunt? Smart move.

The late night FOX show with Hunt, Capt. David Christian and Bevilacqua was great.

Diaz Balarts are also Cuban, and K. Harris is serving in my old stompin' grounds. I voted for her as Sec'y of State. Tom Feeney always struck me as a sharp cookie, too. You've got some great people there.

Of couse, we need to get you some good Senators! :o)
