Bad news. 2 British choppers collided in midair over the Persian Gulf. 7 aboard, search and rescue in progress, crash was at 4:30am Iraq time.

likely cause is night flying..something to do with the night vision causing visibility trouble

Fourth helicopter accident in three days. First was the MH-53 that went down with no injuries (and later on they went back and bombed the helicopter to keep it from falling into Iraqi hands). Then there was an AH-64D Apache that had some sort of problem but managed to land and then fly back to base. Then the CH-46 last night, and the two Sea Kings tonight.
Prayers out to the victims, their families, and their comrades.
