Yes, you're right about the "she's not all that..." stuff. But there's a certain something there. Must be the way she flaunts it with that nice sign.

Here's a scaled map of Iraq for perspective:

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/iraq/images/iraq-map-group1.gif

Texans can think of it as from the Red River to the Rio Grande, and Louisiana to Lubbock. US military crossed the Rio Grande at McAllen, Marines took Brownsville earlier today. Other units have raced north and crossed the Nueces, and are currently somewhere south of San Antonio. Will eventually encounter the outer ring of Republican Guard that encircles Austin south of San Marcos. Meanwhile other units have secured airfields around Midland and San Angelo, and are moving east. Several reports of explosions and engagements in the Kurdish areas around Dallas, and Turkish troops have crossed the Red River and there is a fear that they will move to take Denton.

Darn, well then let's hope when the floodgates open in Iraq, the horrors that will come to light will make anyone who would defend SH's right to live look outrageously bad. [I can dream]

The Republican guard would be the idiots to use the stuff, but there is no way to be sure they will not. They lie like rugs.

I would never trust them for a New york second.

She is now an FR legend. She's hugh, she's series, and she's no cheese (and never bit by a moose, either).

She's safe from bites. I'm married. And not suicidal, either. (looks over shoulder at wife)

It is now reported that this report was in error .... Apparently he said that he will treat POWs with respect ... this is the opposite of what we heard earlier about the U.S. and British soldiers being considered "mercenaries" and accountable to a military trial...

I can see her linked with Tourist Guy in the relatively near future. Maybe they'll be vacationing on the Tigris?

Thanks for the belly girl.

Hey, does anybody know what precision guided munitions pulverized Saddam's palace? We know that Tomahawks went in but did they also use JDAM's and Bunker Busters (GBU-28)?
