Have you ever noticed that he usually sat at a table with a very ugly breakfront behind him that had no dishes in it - just ugly olive green fabric? Maybe that room was destroyed.
All, you know the room, don't you? No saddam, no room with ugly dining room furniture.

Isn't going to take that long. We are in the process of gearing up the 50,000 or so humanitarian sights that exist in Iraq.
We don't need the UN folks for that.

Thos anti-war protesters will be persona non-grata in their circle of friends.
I'm very happy their eyes have been opened, assuming the account is true.
To: Socratic
Wow. The ones who refuse to believe because they cannot see it - the atrocities of sadaam - have their heads in the sand. This is very telling. Should be on all the TVs.

As a former Recon. Sergeant for MLRS I can tell you it's nuts to continue with peacetime recon. tactics in desert warfare. These probably weren't even armored HumVees. The Recons scout an area and after identifying all elements of threats like mines, enemy, chem. bio, etc. pass the information back for tactical consideration. It's typical to drive for 16 hr.s or more and cover several hundred miles each day. Using a HumVee for this mission in combat is practically suicidal. It is absurd. They should use nothing less than Bradley's with applique armor.

No, Billy's simply pointing out various things that can go wrong and I'm tired of the negative reporting. We're harder on our own.

The key to it is that a human shield has been brought to his senses, with lots of video to back up the popular feelings of those who are soon to be liberated.

I'm sure this has been posted, but I just logged on again after surfing for awhile. A group of American anti-war demonstrators who came to Iraq with Japanese human shield volunteers made it across the border today with 14 hours of uncensored video, all shot without Iraqi government minders present. Kenneth Joseph, a young American pastor with the Assyrian Church of the East, told UPI the trip "had shocked me back to reality." Some of the Iraqis he interviewed on camera "told me they would commit suicide if American bombing didn't start. They were willing to see their homes demolished to gain their freedom from Saddam's bloody tyranny. They convinced me that Saddam was a monster the likes of which the world had not seen since Stalin and Hitler. He and his sons are sick sadists. Their tales of slow torture and killing made me ill, such as people put in a huge shredder for plastic products, feet first so they could hear their screams as bodies got chewed up from foot to head."
Pure horror.
Absolutely chilling.
Would love for Hollyweird anti-American slobs, CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN to read this account. But then, they are too busy abusing the father a deceased marine.
