FN:
Al Jazeera: "The most anti-war, pro-Iraq (network) we have seen." Plenty of protest coverage, Iraqi civilian casualties, minimizing the US explanations, reporting Iraqi "info" without question.
Iraqi: "Indeed we are thankful, but we want to know, "where's the humanitarian aid."
We haven't even made it to Baghdad. It's been less than 4 days, they've been under a brutal dictator's rule for 30 years and they can't wait a few days for our guys - risking their lives - to save them? Sigh.
Could Bill Kristol be a little less PESSIMISTIC all the time. Geeze, our guys deserve HIGH praise for their awesome efforts!
"Pessimism never won any battles.--Dwight Eisenhower
Does anyone want to hear from an "armchair general" criticizing our real life Generals right now? (rant over)

That camera went off suddenly...I flipped to CNN and theirs had too. This line of tanks looked like they were standing down because you could see anti-aircraft illuminations lighting up the sky. I am concerned right now. No one at FNC has said anything. Was anyone else watching Fox when Gregs camera blinked off???

Damn, Fox just showed the typical Arab screaming for humanitarian aid. The leaflet said I would get my ho-hos. Where are my ho-hos? They said I would get donuts. Where are they? They said I would get sugar-free pudding. Where is it? My children want Barney! The soldiers do not bring Barney!

Let not start Arab bashing....OK?
There have been plenty of pictures of GRATEFUL "arabs" with the troops.

I'm sure this has been posted, but I just logged on again after surfing for awhile.
A group of American anti-war demonstrators who came to Iraq with Japanese human shield volunteers made it across the border today with 14 hours of uncensored video, all shot without Iraqi government minders present. Kenneth Joseph, a young American pastor with the Assyrian Church of the East, told UPI the trip "had shocked me back to reality." Some of the Iraqis he interviewed on camera "told me they would commit suicide if American bombing didn't start. They were willing to see their homes demolished to gain their freedom from Saddam's bloody tyranny. They convinced me that Saddam was a monster the likes of which the world had not seen since Stalin and Hitler. He and his sons are sick sadists. Their tales of slow torture and killing made me ill, such as people put in a huge shredder for plastic products, feet first so they could hear their screams as bodies got chewed up from foot to head."
This is from an article linked to from Drudge.

This sounds tense. But you are probably right-lights out, waiting for air power to do some heavy lifting for awhile.

What was Kristol saying? He was glowing last night about the spectacular US military and the brillant civilian leadership of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al. Is he singing a different tune today?
