It's what my husband does, and their life expectancy in time of war is approx. 3 seconds. They have guts, no doubting that.YIKES!!!
Prayers for him!

I feel for my fellow j-men, but that is the price and cost for covering the war. May they rest in peace.

I remember Shep fighting with OJ Simpson during a phone conversation. It was the day that OJ called the tv station and FOX put him on the air. It was great- Shep pushed all his buttons that was for sure.

"Don't know how long they can go without sleep"
They are spending long hours riding in vehicles. I'll bet there is plenty of sleeping going on there.

Well, then, let's crank up the Signal to Noise ratio! They need our cheers, our chocolate, and our prayers.

You know, peacenik loons can finally make one snap.
I received an e-mail touting a protest-poetry web site someone was starting and I forwarded it to my daughter.
She was immediately inspired to write a protest haiku:
smell the burned mustache
smell the tyrant's rotting flesh
smell the victory
I think it has a nice ring.
To: Kadric
LOLOL! However, those peaceniks don't have enough brain cells to process the points you've made.
To: The Wizard
Turkey sucks.
Go 4th...
I wonder when they'll deploy the troops out of Hood to head over. I know 1st Cav will be going over there for clean up and peacekeeping soon....
To: The Wizard
the Turkey deal is over Ooh, their goose is cooked.

A lot of people diss Shep, think he's too casual, or a lightweight or something, but I have great respect for him. He's done a fabulous job. He's really smart.
He can have fun, but, though I have always liked him, my respect for him has doubled.
He has grown on me, too! (Well-not literally, of course! lol) I watched him during the Columbine tragedy and became a fan. And last night-the banter between Shep, and Brit and Jim Angle
( banter over comparing presidential salutes-Jim demonstrating clinton's floppy wristed salute-mentioning that Reagan had two items of advice for Clinton- use Camp David to refresh your mind and learn how to salute-Brit indicating that the way to salute is to bring your hand up like honey and drop it away like throwing off $hit...hehe...just so great...Shep then asked the two elders if they could tell us any stories of Jefferson..LOL),
at any rate, that banter was warm, real and demonstrated the team work FOX is earning such a good reputation for encouraging. I loved it and like Shep immensely.

I am still absolutely in shock that more of our troops have not been killed. I was expecting a blood bath and chem/bio being used. I would have never dreamed it would be going this good. These guys really are the best.It ain't over...
