They're supposed to get ahead of themselves. They're colt teams. Their job is to go ahead of the group they're with, scout out any areas/and or enemies that need to be fired upon. They then call back with the co-ordinates for artillery fire. It's what my husband does, and their life expectancy in time of war is approx. 3 seconds. They have guts, no doubting that.

"Turks removed their troops when the German advised them that they might pull their AWACS form Turkey because of their incursion into Irac.....the bet is the US called the Germans and told them to explain the facts of live to the Truks"
Cool. I had suspected that while the Germans were blustering in public, they were quietly helping out in the background. That's the only explanation for the lack of administration criticism.
On another note, Hilary Kramer, the babe in red on Fox, is very hot. I love her sweater!

I didn't see the interview, only the after the interview .. but yesterday Tom Brochov called a mother of one marines that was killed. I'm not sure of all that she said but she left Tom close to tears and he almost lost it. He lost it, as did the panel of retired military, several of whom have children over there. Tom could not be that good an actor - his voice broke, he could not control the tears, he stated his loss of control over his emotions was unprofessional. The mother told the media how hard they are making it for the families of everyone over there, Every time they hear a Marine has been killed, they think it must be their Marine. SHE IS ON AGAIN NOW GTG!

supposedly they haven't gone in more than 12 miles into Iraq, and claim that is as far as they intend to go. That's good news, if true, but no way to yet verify.
I have a hunch that we are pushing hard to get up there ASAP. One MSNBC analyst speculated that the 101st was heading that way for quick containment, their embedded reporter hasn't popped up much.
Also interesting to me is that David Bloom hasn't been heard from in awhile. His unit is supposedly going to be the first to reach Baghdad. Lots of things moving unseen(thank goodness). Hopefully those weasel TV studio sourpusses will get some more surprises.

LOL. i'd make a good news anchor reading some of those mindless stories.
now we take turns reading to each other. the only things he can read to me himself are Cat in the Hat caliber. when they're not fighting (about .07% of the time) his sister reads to him.
oh, well, just passing on to him some of the patient guidance my parents showed me.
