We're quite pathetic, aren't we?

Morning! Gen. Franks is doing a Rummy on the BBC. (^:
Gen. Tommy Franks:
"This campaign will be characterized by surprise."
"Our troops are performing as we expected - magnificently. The outcome is not in doubt."
"I believe Command and Control is not as advertised on Baghdad television." Coalition leader behind him tried not to smile.
NBC Nora O'Donnell asks about Turkey. Turkey is the DNC talking point. "The Turkish forces we see in Northern Iraq, we see them move in and out of Turkey." "I have one of my general officers in Turkey and have had him there for some time."
"Why would you ask if we had to scramble? A plan that's agile, a plan that's flexible provides us"...(multiple actions at the same time).
"From my view, that was about as close a coordination as I have ever seen....( and I've seen a lot of them)."
"There' s lot of you BBC guys."

IS the war over yet?Mornin', Mo. Not yet, but Basra and Nasariyah are ours.
To: AFPhys
Stay safe, AFPhys. Glad to hear our precisions is as we thought; if one were to listen to the propoganda coming out of our own media we would be led to believe otherwise. Regards, Peach

He IS smacking them around pretty good. I guess his "boss" :) taught him well.
To: Sacajaweau
FNC's question was about the best so far.
"Have you found WMD's yet?"
To: TomGuy
Franks sounds like a football coach that's up 30-0 at half time! The press doesn't bother him.LOL!
To: katykelly
Franks was just asked if he had an "idear" of where Hussein is.
To: katykelly
Do you know where Saddamn is? A: We'll know soon.
To: Jackie-O
You've definitely picked the right place to park.....just shows how smart you are! We love it here.
To: OXENinFLA
You're darn right that's an important question. What was the response?
To: GOPyouth

Response to the Fox WMD question; we've been getting info every day...most of the work is ahead, not behind.

either:
A) Everyone staying put out of fear, or
B) The Iraqi people understand we're not after themIt was very impressive yesterday to see the civilians going out to watch the fireworks. I'm getting the impression they know this show is NOT aimed at Iraqi citizens, and they seem to have a good deal of confidence that they are not going to be targeted by the US. They, too, are probably awed at the precision... and no doubt, thankful...
I hope someone lets them know how many dollars it costs the US to conduct a war in this way simply to save innocent human life.
