Agreed. His past leaks resulted, I understand, in the exposure of secret agents and perhaps the death of one of them. He deserves being exposed for what he is.

"In the end Saddam will be gone."Rumsfeld has been waiting for this for a long time -- It must be a good feeling to know that we're almost rid of that SOB . . .

One of the questions (don't think it was covered in this thread ) asked about the reports of oil fields on fire. Rummy neither confirmed nor denied.

Peta Jennings hates American ideals, he's a socialist like the rest of the leftists.

Isn't there a Freeper who has access to work visas? I think Jennings needs to be yanked and have him sent back to Canada.

Gephardt may be a leftist, but his actions have shown he is a patriot. You shouldn't group him with that bunch.

After Rumsfelt gave his warning not to reveal intelligence, he gave a terse, "Don't do it." Like Bush, he speaks bluntly and effectively.

Good morning! Good to see everyone again. :)
Does anyone know if there is one live "war" thread today? (We'll keep it on the war today, Carolinamom -- friendly smile -- but I sure appreciated everyone's encouragement!)
Going to be interesting doings today. It's a challenge to focus on work too when history is being made in such a significant way.

Re Gephardt: I agree. Monday night I saw the President's speech on CNN. (Not my fault; I was in an airport lounge waiting for my flight, and that's what they had on. Poor taste, but what can one do under such circumstances?) CNN preceeded Bush's speech with a solid phalanx of Bush critics, foreign and domestic. Gephardt was the only person interviewed who strapped on his helmet and rallied to the flag. Good for him.
