Turkish president criticises US Iraq action

ANKARA, March 20 (Reuters) - Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer on Thursday questioned the legitimacy of what he called unilateral U.S. action against Iraq.

"The United Nations Security Council process on Iraq should have been allowed to finish. I do not find it right that the U.S. behaved unilaterally before that process ended," Sezer told reporters in Ankara.

His comments added weight to the parliamentary opposition ahead of a vote later in the day on a resolution to allow U.S. warplanes to use Turkish airspace for Iraq attacks.

The Turks have never been stable or trustworthy. They don't call Turkey the "Sick Man of Europe" for nothing.

None of these people would ask the UN the time of the day for their own cross border operations.

Turkey is fast becoming as big an enemy to the US as France already is. Actually, Turkey may already be a bigger enemy since their opposition has harmed our military operation and possibly endangered American lives.

It is too late now for Turkey to do anything helpful for the US, so they can kiss all their aid money goodbye and maybe now they can just shut the frup up.

"The United Nations Security Council process on Iraq should have been allowed to finish. I do not find it right that the U.S. behaved unilaterally before that process ended," Sezer told reporters in Ankara.

I'm sorry, what process? France torpedoed it. Don't you watch the news, you twit?

We got Jordanian overflight. Worry not. Those six carriers aren't in the Gulf to keep their planes on the deck.
