The sky news guy on loan to Fox stated that we have boots on the ground in the north. Could be the SpecOps that have been there for a while, or could be deployed paratroopers.

Well we have confirmation of "boots on the ground" in the south, west, and north, so my totally off-the-cuff guess is the north.

Yeah, it didn't look to me as if any sane Iraqi, RG or conscript, would come tearassing out in the middle of the Desert to challenge the M1A2's and the Bradley's of the freaking 7th Cav!

They probably stopped for food and to let the 3rd ID catch up.

I don't see the Iraqis trying to pull a Mortain offensive here. They aren't the Germans, and they shouldn't pretend to be.

The reporter was trying to give some good PR on the Brigade Commander and accidentally said, "as a matter of fact he's right in front of me in ###"

Wesley Clark is now explaining on CNN (I know, I know) that this slow movement might really have to do with the suspicion that we got Saddam.

And what a coup to go to Baghdad and liberate without destoying the country.

If we thought Saddam was still in control we would launch. Make a lot of sense.

When they lost the feed from the Hummer, Shep asked to go to Al Jazerra since they were showing something similar. He was probably told that they were just using the feed from CNN, which is why they couldn't/wouldn't put it up.
