I thought he said Fox News, but I can't recall. He didn't elaborate, just mentioned Basrah falling in passing as an example of great progress that is being made.

That is a good sign. Less than 24 hours from initiation of force. The city is a milepost in the overall effort. If we had trouble getting this, then we were certainly in for a long haul. I continue to pray for a decisive campaign, with minimum casualties, especially among our brave troops, and innocent civilians.

FNC - The one gas station between Baghdad and Jordan was obliterated by forces unknown. The main western border crossing is now closed. Also, 3rd Infantry Division is at MOPP level 1 (suits on, mask at the ready). IIRC, that's been standard operationg procedure.
