Rita Cosby saying that Saddam and/or one of his sons could have been hit tonight. They have been following 5 key leaders and one of those five- maybe more, were in the target.

rintense, it's great of you to give up ANYTHING for Lent. It strengthens the person who does it. I'm proud of you.

Thank you. I've give up quite a few things. Junk food, fast food, swearing, booze and chips and salsa. The swearing has been the hardest.

I'm usually not a conspiracy theorist, but I was really doubting that the speech came from the Oval Office. I figured that the President was in a secure location, however some of these pictures show otherwise. That is comforting.

Did you notice the subtle way the flag is draped?
The Eagle is clutching the arrows (war).

Arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhh! I am stuck in a room without cable. Which is the lesser of three evils: NBC, CBS, ABC?

Thanks for blessing us with the photos of President Bush on the Daily Dose. I was thinking about what a day in the life of President Bush has been like recently and it sure hasn't been dull.
He wakes up every morning to a new attack from the disloyal opposition, and has to deal with snotty reporters, Hans Blix, (the unspeakable) the UN and more importantly, our national security. His days have definitely been stressful but he seemed so calm and determined tonight.
So, I hope that our prayers do help him.

Here is the seal on the flag.
The arrows on the right represent war, the olive branches on the left represent peace.

I'm so glad my mom is with me - she and I couldn't even eat our supper tonight because we're nervous about this war starting. We are confident in our troops and their victorious end to this conflict.
But ... I do agree that it is great to have her here - and of course to be here with my FR family! I have errands to run tomorrow, so I won't be on here very late. I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight though ... LOL
