Did you notice the subtle way the flag is draped?

The Eagle is clutching the arrows (war).

The arrows on the right represent war, the olive branches on the left represent peace.

The flag has been draped that way since 9/11/01 I believe. I think when Bush addressed the nation that night the flag had been turned that way and has stayed draped that way with the arrows in the talon ever since.

I definitely noticed the flag. Nothing is left to chance or misinterpretation. My boss sure gave another great speech.

When we are at war, isn't the eagle's head supposed to be facing the arrows? And if so, when do they change that on all the seals?
