Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, in full camouflage gear, demonstrates her combat and first aid skills to the media as part of a three-week military training course in Almnas, Sweden, to prepare her for international peacekeeping missions, March 18, 2003. The 25-year-old princess, the oldest of the three children of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, practiced combat skills, marksmanship, first aid and chemical warfare safety with 41 other men and women at the Swedish armed forces' peacekeeping training ground south of Stockholm. Enlisting for military service is obligatory for men in Sweden but only a third actually undergo training. For women it is voluntary and about 16,000 men and women undergo military service every year.

Hey, when she can look that good even when she's wearing cammo, now, THAT'S a
pretty girl!
Gotta love a woman in uniform - even better when it's one of ours. How about folks posting some pics of your own proud, brave and beautiful warriors?
(Ahem... clean ones only please, gents - show some respect!)

Man, is that "brown" eyes I see on that babe. And as you say, so pretty even in cammo. (She may not think so...but such is a womans humility)

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden With all due respect, I'll take the Crown Princess Victoria of FreeRepublic any day of the week.
To: In The Defense of Liberty
Wow! Well, she IS the descendent of one of Napoleon's generals, Count Bernadotte, who the Swedes approached and chose to be their king!

Thank you! I was going to ask if the Bernadotte dynasty was still extant, and you answered before I had to ask.
Founded by Field Marshal Bernadotte and the lovely Desiree. That's my favorite story from the Napoleonic Era.

Strangely, I like her better with the cammo. She looks far too prissy in that other photo, like she never gets her hands dirty.. with the cammo she looks like's in for the game!
