Last time I checked there were fewer than 52 'rats in the Senate. I smell some RINOs out there. Any idea one who they are?

I'm pretty sure one RINO was Olympia Snowe from Maine--ever the liberal in a republican's clothing.

If you are from Ohio, then take a guess!

Exactly..I'm sure it's the list of usual suspects.

Roll Calls aren't up on Thomas or www.senate.gov yet. Can't tell who the RINOs are.

Last year it was 54 votes. Among them were Cleland, Carnahan, Wellstone, and Bob Smith. Wellstone and Coleman both agreed on ANWR, but the rest were pick-ups. So, -3 (51).
Our side got 46 including Hutchinson. So, +1. That's 52-- which is where we are now.
Apparently (according to other reports) someone traded votes with a Democrat so from the list below (or above-- counting Coleman), one Democrat dropped off the support list and one Republican fell off the oppose list. I have no idea who.

Chafee, Collins, DeWine, Fitzgerald, McCain, Smith, and Snowe oppose ANWR drilling.
Akaka, Breaux, Inouye, Landrieu, and Miller support ANWR drilling.

Any idea one who they are?Norm Colman for one, he even campaigned on it. I think Minnesota is kind of liberal.

Last I heard Richard Lugar was a RINO on this issue.
If I remember correctly Norm Coleman was as well. I'll have to see how they voted but they've spoken against it.

There are lots of "republicans" in the way of weaning off middle east oil. I;ll bet a few dems voted for it.
Last I checked it was the usual suspects and a couple surprises.
Coleman......grrr....no on tax breaks too. this newbie has guts though. wrote me asking for money after election
to pay for overspending. i said i'd wait and see how he votes. he is 0-2
Chaffe, why not, he is a democrat basically
specter, same
Snowe, maine
Collins, maine. maine must love high heat oil costs
and the grand-daddy of the flip flopping inconsistents
John McCain.
not positive all these voted against boxer amendment but all recently against development of 2000 of 140 million acres of frozen, gushy mosquito infested in summer, gets 4 tourists a year, sod.
