I know you well enough to believe you'd actually gamble -- not $500 Mudboy; but, $1,000 to $2,000 -- of your famly's money; and, do so based solely on a misplaced faith -- traced back to your youth -- in some oddball who'll go whichever way the wind's blowing.
An oddball who'd put the screws to you, throw you under the proverbial bus -- & your family -- so fast it'd make your head spin.
You're right, we "don't know" each other; but, be advised KnI have a direct interest in seeing to it YOU have a sound, happy & successful marriage with two happy, well adjusted kids.
So I was only thinking of you, Mudboy, in lieu of simply taking your hard earned money.
Naturally I'd wondered, if your spousal unit knew what you were up to -- as she should -- there might just be a *discussion* on the M-family's *priorities*.
Yup, I sure think that *discussion* would be on the *agenda* alright, & "sooner rather than later, & more rather than less." ~so to speak.

I'd actually be counting on her ability, her wifely skills to get through to your heart, Mud; because, I sure as hell can't get through your head.

I heard that in the first 48 hours that our folks will have hit 7,000 targets in Iraq. Man, that's 146 targets per hour. Wow !
On a *diplomatic* note, I heard that 3,000,000 Americans visit France annually, and spend $5 BILLION total per year there. That's $1,667 per person per year. I expect that number is likely to be cut in half. Add that to the boycott on French imports to the U.S. which has already started. They'll be hurtin' for certain.
I'm sure CNN will alert Baghdad, when our bombers take off. I've heard reports of bombers taking off from England several hours ago...
