I know you well enough to believe you'd actually gamble -- not $500 Mudboy; but, $1,000 to $2,000 -- of your famly's money; and, do so based solely on a misplaced faith -- traced back to your youth -- in some oddball who'll go whichever way the wind's blowing.
An oddball who'd put the screws to you, throw you under the proverbial bus -- & your family -- so fast it'd make your head spin.

You're right, we "don't know" each other; but, be advised KnI have a direct interest in seeing to it YOU have a sound, happy & successful marriage with two happy, well adjusted kids.

Naturally I'd wondered, if your spousal unit knew what you were up to -- as she should -- there might just be a *discussion* on the M-family's *priorities*.

I heard at around noonish (news break during Rush's show) that 15 Iraqi soldiers had already showed up with a white flag to surrender.

However, I'm wondering if Saddam has installed his most loyal troops in Baghdad...that's where the the real battle is going to be at, if there is one, it appears.

There has been so much info on this upcoming war, who knows? The could be going at it, but that's the first I've heard that one.

I heard that in the first 48 hours that our folks will have hit 7,000 targets in Iraq. Man, that's 146 targets per hour. Wow !

On a *diplomatic* note, I heard that 3,000,000 Americans visit France annually, and spend $5 BILLION total per year there. That's $1,667 per person per year. I expect that number is likely to be cut in half. Add that to the boycott on French imports to the U.S. which has already started. They'll be hurtin' for certain.
