"If Saddam Hussein submits himself
will that be the end of our Sept. 11 problem?" asked Goldsmith. No, but it will be a good step in the right direction.
"We have to start and finish something we haven't finished anything yet," said Timucin Karca, who was born in the United States but raised in Turkey.
Ever hear of "multi-tasking?"

"It's nothing but oil, it's nothing but money," said Rebhi Abedrabbo, a bakery owner. "I feel like the whole U.S. foreign diplomacy is all wrong
you cannot force democracy on other people." Oh and what are you doing? You came here to this country to be free and enjoy your pursuit of happiness and open a Bakery! How dare you talk about it being all about money! Its amazing how many people who don't want their fellow muslims in other countries to be free and happy but only they can! Getting mighty selfish aren't you?

That's the absolute fallacy of the "We should concentrate on Al-Qaeda first" argument. Does anyone really think we're going to ever be able to say "We've captured every Al-Qaeda terrorist, the war's over"! No, that's not going to happen, so we try to do several things at once.

From listening to these morons, you would think that there isn't enough freedom to go around.

We keep hearing about this "fear of oppression" that these people say they have, but I have seen little evidence of it.
Oh, sure, there may be some isolated instance where some redneck with beer for courage may have hassled someone who spoke with an accent and had a dark complexion, but that sort of thing is going to happen from time to time.
But there is not "oppression," official or otherwise, that any of these people can point to. I have seen where ACLU and other such orgs have tried to document "hate crimes" against Muslims, but all they seem to be able to come up with are things like Muslim women asked to remove their headscarves to be searched at an airport entry.
I'm tired of hearing all the whining from the potentially "oppressed." I suggest that if they want a better definition of "oppression of Muslims," they look at what has happened to the Shi'ites and Kurds in Iraq. THAT'S oppression.

I don't give a flip what they think. Especially since they've only lived here a few years. I also discount the opinions of Muslims who become US citizens. My opinion has more weight since my people have been here since 1902. I have more invested in the USA.

They should be happy that we want to free the people of Iraq and let them live in happiness. For some reason these Muslim Americans need a lesson in American History and American Values!

But we're all immigrants! /sarcasm.
Every nation is a nation of immigrants, depending on when you draw the 'here before' line.

I'm tired of the bleeting of these fresh off the boat immigrants. Start bitching after you've been in the USA for a few generations.
Until then just consider yourself lucky to have wormed your way into the USA. Out of the Islamic pesthole that spawned you.

I'm tired of the bleeting of these fresh off the boat immigrants. Actually, many of these people are American-born. But that's not the point. Anti-war sympathizers are everywhere, even among descendents of those who came over on the Mayflower.
The point is, regardless of where they came from, where is their allegiance now? Here or there? And why?
Seems to me that these folks, in this community, more than anywhere else, should be expressing their patriotism and loyalty to the United States, for reasons too many and too obvious to mention.

Hey, I went to Paterson once for work. I went into this furniture manufacturer who was from the middle east. This factory had about 300 employees. It was real strange. There were about 4 cars in the parking lot. When I went inside, all of them were ME. No one spoke english. When I asked the owner where are the cars of these people, he told me they were brought in from NY. I couldn't believe all these people were here legally. It seems to me we have a big problem there.

Tell me, "How many of the 15,000 immigrants are US CITIZENS"! Also tell these people about the story of " A FEW BAD APPLES SPOIL THE BUNCH".
If they can't or won't cooperate with AMERICAN LAW, they have a RIGHT to go back to their own COUNTRY.
