It appears George W. Bush has returned the favor to our great friend Tony Blair by giving diplomacy a chance. Reports are saying that support for removing Saddam by force are climbing very fast and so is Tony Blairs approval ratings.
No one can say that they didn't give diplomacy a chance and the reason it didn't work was not the "Coalition of the brave's" fault, it was France's fault

It was France's fault but also Sadaam Hussein. He was not exactly cooperative. Sadaam's behavior was to be expected. France's, however, suggest something sinister. I still think Chirac is hiding something. He's been borderline hysterical. Actually, Krauthammer had a good article about it. His basic thesis was that France's objective is to stymie the US and thereby gain global stature. Oops...wrong guy in the White House. France miscalculated.

This is great. Only hindsight can reveal the wisdom in Bush's decisions. Too bad Tom Daschle is blind.

Oh, I am so glad that Tony Blairs polls are going up. He has really stood by us during all of this, and who would have thought he would? Even Clinton, his old buddy is dissing him, so you know he is doing something right!

He certainly has stood by Dubya. I hope his approval ratings go through the roof.
