I love her, too. I met her once in L.A. Very nice and genuine. And not bad on the eyes.

Somebody posted that ebay was swamped with Vichy Chicks tickets but no one was bidding on the biddies.Yup. Just before Natlie started oinking, tickets were going for anywhere from $500-$1500. Then, bam, total collapse. If you've got AMAZING seats, like in the first couple of rows, you still might be able to eke out $300 or so. Good but not amazing, maybe around $80-90 if you live in a particularly liberal city (those $80-90 tickets are for Madison Square Garden). Otherwise, fuhgeddaboudit. There's a set of floor tickets for the Nassau Coliseum about to close that's currently at $7.16. And that's after TEN BIDS. Oakland, asking $150, no bids. Phoenix, asking $159, one bid after an entire week. Two weeks ago any of these would be over $700 at the very minimum.

I mostly agree (I agree entirely about the sense of loss) but one cannot oppose an active war without harming the troops who are fighting it. The two are tightly tied together and cannot be separated.

Agree. I spent a good part of my youth listening to Natalie's dad Lloyd Maines with the Joe Ely band in Lubbock, and also the Maines brothers at the Red Raider Inn. She comes from good people. I feel bad for her, because I said quite a few dumbass things myself in my youth in another unpopular wartime.

We hit the site so hard yesterday the webmaster printed a whiny disclaimer and shut it down. Also edited off many of our "harsher" posts. Thats why it looks skewed

Do you think I could hit them with tomatoes from there? Any more suitable projectile suggestions would be appreciated. Throw somwthing the skank can't fit in her mouth. Otherwise, she'll just suck it all in like a vacuum. Maybe you could get her with a tomato if you distracted her with a bucket of KFC first.

I don't get why people always seem to get so nasty and catty when it comes to brain-dead loud-mouthed women who happen to have nice, wide hips and plenty of scrumptious curves.
Women aren't supposed to be stick figures, folks. And besides, what does Natalie's zaftig figure have to do with her idiotic political outbursts?

Try the ballads next. Irrelevant Liberal Democrats from the 60's still like folk music. You can dress up like Peter, Paul and Mary, maybe nobody will recognize you as the Ex-Dixie Chix.

"It is really sad that the Dixie Chicks are so liberal. They are good musicians. Too bad the political sides of their brains do not perform as well as the musical sides."
yes...it is too bad.....if this keeps up, all I will be listening too is Bach, Beethoven, and maybe opera...I like all music, exc. rap..so I can always find an alternative...
but I am so angry at these celebrities who think they can lord over us with their pithy little opinions...
I say....you have an opinion?...keep it out of your act!!!!!!

Here are two replies I recieved from Wolf 95(Texas) radio station manager & program director, in response to my request that they discontinue playing the "chicks".
Hi ...
We are sending every Wolf listener comment to the Chicks' management and record label. We are not in favor of adding or subtracting to the situation. The Wolf listeners have spoken!
Thank you for taking the time to howl at us with your thoughts.
Take care and God Bless America!
we have stopped playing their music at 11a today. Thanks for your note.
