Iraq rejects Saddam exile proposal

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq has rejected a U.S. ultimatum for President Saddam Hussein to go into exile or face war, saying a decision by the United Nations to withdraw its staff from Iraq was an "unfortunate decision". Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri told reporters that "any child" in Iraq knew that U.S. President George W. Bush's ultimatum to Saddam was a non-starter.

"The only option (to secure peace) is the departure of the warmonger number one in the world, the failing President Bush who made his country a joke," Sabri said on Monday.

If the answer is no, can we forego the 72 hour waiting period and start anyway? No sense in letting Saddam blow up the Iraqi oil fields and causing trouble. No time like the present to go in and get the job done.

I'm beginning to see what his problem is. Wrong Bush.

He should say 'the moment you hear the Shock and Awe, it will be too late. Make your way out of the country as soon as possible, there will be no further warning.'

Iraq has rejected a U.S. ultimatum for President Saddam Hussein to go into exile.

Is that your final answer?

Does that include children who were tortured into insanity?
