Tomorrow night Iraq time and Bush will announce it tomorrow afternoon after Bagdad has disapeared! Is that a fantasy of yours? That the millions of inhabitants of Baghdad will be killed?

If you're right, tomorrow night will be a very interesting way to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary!

12:15am(Eastern) March 18th, 2003. That way it will be the same time as the UN is in. GO TEAM! It's going to suck though....full moon on the 18th.

How long do you think it will take after it starts for the French to surrender unconditionally??? How long do you think it will take after it ends for the French to beg unconditionally? ....Beg for a slice of the Iraqi oil pie, that is.

Hmmm..... my crystal ball agrees that it has already started. Its been going for weeks and it just hasn't been broadcast. While Le Worm was peeing on the chair at the UN, our heroes have been out there day after day taking care of business. Plus, Geraldo is over there and that is a sure sign that things are happening. Oh, and Peter Arnet is now in Bagdad. Surely, the war couldn't start without him.

UN Inspectors have already had plenty of time to leave. Blix isn't there is he?
Then, consider this: the inspectors are concentrated in the Baghdad area. The first moves of the war will be unannounced lightning strikes to the secure the oil fields from Iraqi sabotage, and these moves will not directly endanger the inspectors.
Any allied announcement will come after the moves to secure the oil fields from sabotage has been underway to the point that the Iraqi regime knows it already.

Do you happen to know anybody in New Orleans that would allow you to profer an opinion as to which teams will be in the Final Four? All Pac-Ten, baby! (insert Dick Vitale's screaming voice)

If Bush addresses the nation Monday after the "end of diplomacy", then he'll give 24-48 hours for the inspectors and others to get out of Iraq.
I figure Wed about 6 PM EST.... that would be 1 AM Iraq time Thursday.

I got the impression what Bush was telling people to get out today. It's not like the writing isn't all over the wall by now.

I think his dad gave some notice for people to leave, but still surprised Iraq with the exact timing.
I think it would be disaterous for us if many inspectors and other UN humanitarian people and other 'civilians' are there when we unleash our shock and awe attack.

I just heard a newsbreak on National Geographic Explorer and the border monitors on the Kuwait-Iraqi border (peace keepers) have been ordered to get out of there now. If I were them, I wouldn't wait to be asked twice.
