I think he means his terrorist friends have been prepped and ready to go... Than the connection between the two has been made.

German policy from the getgo was to scuttle the ship.
I believe the penalty for that is hanging or walking the plank. Not sure which.
To: AF68
I would say were less than 72 hours to start the full Liberation of Iraq. I cannot wait to see the first 24 hours.

It would be pretty nice except in the summer. I remember in the summer though, even at 85 degrees it was ALWAYS SOooo humid. I would take a shower, and before I could even get dried off, I would be sweating already. Sticky ! . . .

Blair was getting real wobbly this last wk. More so than
most people realize. If everything goes alright in the
war Blair will be back on top, and it will be because of
President Bush.

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood when CNN's talking heads are spinning at high RPMs.
To: cyncooper
I don't think Saddam will try anything until after the UN plays out tomorrow. Its all about PR and positioning himself in Arab mythmaking(and in his mind maybe even in some unrealistic dream survival scheme).
To: jwalsh07
Inspector Blix is not a policy maker or an analyst and somebody needs to tell him that his 15 minutes and US supplied paycheck are OVER! His place in history has been settled. Same footnotes as Chamberlain and Ritter.
To: AF68
Home-made pizza time! I've stocked up...beer, popcorn, chops, chicken, rice, peanut butter, Ritz crackers, baby food for Lynese...
I've gotta finish taking stock.

Why should HE be giving interviews? He shouldn't be, he sould be asked to leave America if he is currently here. Other than that, I could care less about Ignorance is...
To: Dolphy
How could Blix detect a division? That is a reflection of his hatred of Bush's resolve to disarm Iraq.I am stunned he would issue such a statement. I hesitate to say this, and it is just speculation, but it seems a desperate attempt to stop the moving train. This leads to the question "why?". I will only say, some very unpleasant thoughts are racing through my head...Think France, think Scott Ritter.

I don't believe that crap about rations...even the soldiers don't get enough to eat..and they are suddenly going to hand out 5 months of food to the people???
The Food for Oil program has been organized so that the Iraqis get a month's worth of items at a time. There are 55000 distribution points, and the food is exchanged for loyalty - one reason why Saddam had a 100% turnout for his recent 'election,' which was up from a 98% turnout at his previous election.
Starting in January, the distribution was stepped up with people told that they were getting advance supplies to tide them over any open hostilities.

Did you hear Laurie, she said the arab stations are playing soap operas and weather reports? Nothing on the summit or Saddam's response.
