Hi All! Report from the Rally: Glenn Beck said from the stage that we had 25,000 people in Centennial Olympic Park for the Rally! It was incredible! The signs were fantastic - lots of anti-French signs: "First Iraq, then France", "Screw Jacques Chiraq" and others! I have tons of pics to post if I can figure out how to get them up! GOOD JOB GEORGIA!

No, I mean 250,000 using ABC's estimating methods for Leftie event headcounts.

While 25,000 were supporting the troops in downtown Atlanta, 200 anti-war protesters were demonstrating in Piedmont Park in Midtown. We got'em beat!

VC or dansangel will probably post some pics of mine later. I went for the posterboard sandwich board effect.

Just watched the 6pm news, WSB-ABC said 3000 (that's too low). Fox5 said 25-30,000 (that's too high). Excellent positive coverage on both and also on CNN. The people they interviewed were all well-spoken, totally supportive of the Troops, and true Americans. Contrast that with...
Both showed several dozen anti-War protestors at the Piedmont park who later joined the Centennial Park Rally. Notable signs were Poets for Peace, some Unitarian or Universalist church people. and a few grandmas with signs of doves.
Nice contrast for a change.

Is CNN headquarters anywhere in this pic?
I went to Atlanta several years ago for the national scholastic journalism convention. We went to CNN for a visit, but none of this looks familiar.
