Hi All! Report from the Rally: Glenn Beck said from the stage that we had 25,000 people in Centennial Olympic Park for the Rally! It was incredible! The signs were fantastic - lots of anti-French signs: "First Iraq, then France", "Screw Jacques Chiraq" and others! I have tons of pics to post if I can figure out how to get them up! GOOD JOB GEORGIA!

CNN Radio News just reported on the Atlanta Rally!

They played a statement from a Reservist who said it was nice having people come out in support of America and the troops!

Oh really? I didn't even think of looking for Freepers - I have to admit that I put my protesting furvor on the shelf after Vote 2000 - that was the last time I was out protesting with Freepers (LBGA, etc..).

Yes, I heard the Altanta Rally take top billing on the CNN Radio News just now in California! A quote from a Reservist expressing appreciation of the Pro-America rally lead into more minor reports on Anti-America rallys.

I was there with my 16yr.old son. We had a great time. It's hard to get an idea of the crowd from picutres--but it was huge. I wish we could send a video of the rally to the troops overseas to show how much we appreciate them.

Again, I'm at 250,000, using ABC's estimating methods for Leftie event headcounts. And that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! ;-)

My husband, daughter, son and I were there. We didn't carry any signs, just Old Glory. We had a wonderful time, chatting with a few freepers, and other mortals, smiling, cheering, singing, showing our support, as proud Americans. I didn't think of this Rally for America as a protest. I didn't see any protest from the patriots, or from the anti-protestors. In fact, I didn't see any anti-protestors there. I am surprised that you would characterize a gathering of Freepers at this event as such.

You mean 25,000, not 250,000. ;) By the way, the Glenn Beck rally site agrees with you, listing it as 25,000.
